Once a bustling 1850s stagecoach stop, the tavern welcomes guests with flickering candlelight, hearty aromas from the kitchen and the charm of historic presenters in period attire.

Enjoy an authentic holiday meal — prepared with seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes — in an inviting setting enhanced by festive décor and live music. Surrounded by time-honored tradition and merriment, every course feels like part of a story unfolding — a one-of-a-kind opportunity to step into another century and celebrate the holidays as families did more than 150 years ago.

Holiday Nights in Eagle Tavern Menu: Selection of cold meats and cheeses, squash soup (vg, gf), freshly baked bread with jam and butter, seared chicken breast with dumplings and gravy, pork loin with braised red wine cabbage and roasted carrots (gf, df), red wine cabbage (gf, df), roasted beef with red wine sauce and herb-roasted potatoes (gf, df), and gingerbread cake with maple-rum glaze. Full vegan and gluten-free meals are available upon request in the online purchase process.

Tickets for Eagle Tavern Holiday Supper are available for parties of any size, but please read below for more information.

Holiday Nights in Eagle Tavern is hosted in a historical venue featuring communal tables and family-style meal service with shared entree and appetizer dishes. To best uphold a historically accurate, engaging and festive atmosphere — while serving as many guests as possible for this popular experience — the following reservation policy is in place:

  • Reservations for 6 guests or fewer will share a table with other guests and enjoy a shared family-style meal across parties. Private tables are not available for parties of 6 guests or fewer.
  • Reservations for 7-9 guests will be seated at the same table if purchased in the same reservation.
  • Larger parties of 9 or more can be seated at adjacent tables based on availability.

Tickets are available to purchase in advance online or by calling our Contact Center at (313) 982-6001. Dining tickets cannot be purchased on-site.

Food allergies, dietary restrictions and seating requests can be added during the online purchase process, but please note that not all seating requests can be guaranteed.
